Product Feature: Alien Activity Placemat

Champaign Plastics has finally added some placemats geared for kids! These cute placemats feature an alien design and have three fun activities to keep children busy: connect-the-dots, a maze, and word search. The placemats could be used for birthday or any kid's parties, school functions, church events, or restaurants. The placemats measure 14" x 10" and can be purchased in packs of 20, 100, or by the case of 1,000. Plus the placemats are printed on 100% recycled paper.

Our alien placemats would also pair well with our space/sea themed color me soda jerk hats #910590

Product Feature: Stainless Steel Sauce Cups

Today I thought I would share a little bit about our new sauce cups. They're perfect for the at home chef to hold ingredients while cooking or at a dinner party to hold each guest's individual dipping sauces. Each cup holds 2.5oz and can be purchased in packs of 4 or by the dozen.

Homemade Strawberry Syrup

You may or may not remember but I recently posted about making strawberry jam here, but there was another strawberry recipe I wanted to try out strawberry syrup! I knew you could make your own syrup for an old-fashioned fountain-style soda and have always wanted to try it out. Sorry I don't have any step-by-step photos but its very easy and similar to the strawberry jam recipe. You only need four ingredients: strawberries, sugar, water, and club soda. Simply hull and cut strawberries, then simmer in water strain out the fruit, and simmer one more time with sugar. It made about 1 quart and after the syrup cooled down I added it to club soda to make an old-fashion fountain-style drink so refreshing. I love breakfast foods so I also tried the syrup on pancakes and waffles and man was it delicious! The recipe can be found here.
